Interview on Hong Kong Television: Suleimani Assasination

Hong Kong Phoenix Television, the leading news station in Hong Kong, interviewed me about the US assassination of Qassem Suleimani, the commander of Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corp's Al Quds Brigade, and the leading terrorist mastermind in the Middle East. We discuss the repercussions for Israel and the region. I explain that Suleimani's death will set back Iran's plans for the region, as he was singularly powerful, charismatic and well connected regionally. Moreover, his assassination will surely deter the Iranian regime. Despite their bluster, Iran will be careful to escalate into a full conflict with the US or Israel, one which it is aware it cannot win.
